Canal RT на русском is the Russian-language channel of RT, a broadcaster funded by the Russian state. It posts reports, live coverage and its own pick of the most-discussed events inside Russia and around the world, including footage gathered on the ground. That context is worth keeping in view: as state-funded media, its editorial line reflects that of the government backing it, something no outlet, public or private, is entirely free of. It helps to know where this is coming from: RT is state media, and since 2022 its broadcasting has been restricted across the European Union. That doesn't make it useless — to understand how a conflict is presented from Moscow it is a primary source — but it does argue against treating it as your only one. If you follow geopolitics, read it alongside at least one outlet from a different editorial orbit.
